Hope Comes in the Mourning
"The Lord is near to the broken hearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
Psalm 34:18
Bringing Light to Young Hearts
At Hope Comes in the Mourning, we strive to provide support and comfort to the youth of our community who are grieving due to the loss or absence of a parent or loved one. Our mission is to bring hope and healing to children and their families during their time of mourning.
Today, November 1, we begin honoring Andrew Mattox as his 35th birthday approaches on November 30. Andrew left behind his beloved kiddos, and in his memory, Hope Comes in the Mourning was founded to continue his legacy of giving.
At the end of his life, Andrew became an organ donor, giving the gift of life to others. 💛 This year, to honor his 35th birthday, we’re inviting the community to join us in giving in his honor - through acts of kindness, support for local families, and spreading hope where it’s needed most.
Let’s come together to celebrate Andrew’s life and the lives he touched.
I challenge you to complete random acts of giving and kindness this month. To inspire others, post your photos, tag us, and make sure to caption #35for35 - our goal is to see 35 acts of kindness this month !
