Winter Copen - Founder / President

Hi! My name is Winter Copen and I am the founder of Hope Comes in the Mourning. However, I cannot take all the credit as God is the one who put this on my heart - the vision, the name, all the way down to the color scheme of our brand.

I am a wife and a mother of 3. Being a mother has been the greatest privilege of my life and I believe all children are deserving of parents who feel the same. I am a lover of all things innocent and powerless. I've always had it deeply instilled within me to stand up for the weak and voiceless, so when this idea was given to me I took it and ran with it. My goal is to impact our community of youth so greatly with love and joy that they find hope in their time of mourning. I have a great team of lifelong friends and family members (and we all volunteer 💛) and I hope through this mission we can bring at least one child the peace they so greatly deserve.

Amanda Bretzinger

Hello, my name is Amanda Bretzinger. My husband Aaron Bretzinger and I have three wonderful kids, Wade, Zoey and Jaycee. I currently work in the Home Health Field as a Hospital Administrator. I grew up in the Stoustville/Amanda area and I now reside in Vinton County. We absolutely love it here. I also love lending a hand and helping out anyone that may need it, no matter if its something big or small ❤️
