Let His Light Shine
A tribute to the life of Zayne Reis
Though Zayne’s time on earth was short, his love for Jesus and his bright, faithful spirit touched everyone who heard his story, drawing hearts closer to God.
We believe that God’s light shines brightest even through the smallest lives, and Zayne’s life is a powerful reminder that He can use anyone, at any age, to make a lasting impact. Through this movement, we aim to:
- Share God’s love with families experiencing loss, showing that hope and comfort can be found in Him.
- Encourage prayer and devotion, uplifting children and families by praying for healing, guidance, and peace.
- Serve others in ways that reflect Jesus’ heart, from community outreach to acts of kindness that spread His light.
- Celebrate life and faith through events like memorial bubble releases, remembrance activities, and gatherings that point hearts toward God.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16
By joining Let His Light Shine, you honor Zayne’s legacy through faith in action, letting God’s light shine through your life, your prayers, and your service. Together, we can bring hope, love, and the knowledge of Jesus’ eternal promise to families navigating grief.
Faith in Action: Let Your Light Shine
Zayne’s life reminds us that even the smallest hearts can shine God’s light in powerful ways. Let His Light Shine encourages everyone—children, families, and communities—to put faith into action through prayer, service, and remembrance. Here’s how you can participate:
1. Pray
- Lift up families experiencing loss and grief, asking God to comfort and guide them.
- Pray for children to grow in faith, hope, and love.
- Join our Let His Light Shine prayer chain, where we commit to praying for specific families and intentions each month.
2. Serve Others
- Perform acts of kindness in your community—deliver meals, visit those in need, or support families walking through hardship.
- Participate in faith-based outreach projects through local churches or community organizations in Zayne’s honor.
3. Remember and Celebrate Life
- Take part in memorial events like bubble releases, candlelight gatherings, or art projects that honor children and loved ones lost too soon.
- Create personal remembrance rituals at home, such as lighting a candle, reading scripture, or journaling about God’s work in your life.
4. Share God’s Word
- Encourage others by sharing scripture, devotionals, or personal stories of hope and faith.
- Use social media to spread messages of God’s love, hope, and encouragement in Zayne’s honor.
5. Shine Your Light Daily
- Let Zayne’s story inspire your daily walk with Jesus.
- Be a beacon of hope to others—through encouragement, support, or simply reflecting God’s love in your words and actions.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:14-16
By taking these steps, we continue Zayne’s legacy, helping others encounter God’s love while bringing hope, comfort, and faith into the world.
